We are a small team building something large, and we are actively looking for volunteers — engineers, educators, writers, designers, organizers, or anyone who simply cares. Even a few hours a month is meaningful. Tell us what you can offer; we'll be in touch to find the right place for you.
Every role is remote, self-paced, and paired with a member of our small team. We respond to applications individually — there's no scoring rubric and no quota.
Localise our interfaces, docs, and audio scripts into your language.
Write and review code for our Screen Reader, Magnifier, and Navigation apps.
Record human voice-overs for our Audiolibrary. Every voice counts.
Lead our 4-week digital literacy bootcamps, in-person or virtual.
Help test new releases. Guided sessions — no prior testing experience needed.
Build a local TEWW chapter. Host events, workshops, and recruitment.
Contribute to our blog, stories, and grant applications.
Document field work — stories, events, training days. With consent.
Fill out a short form. It takes 6 minutes. We read every application within 48 hours.
A 30-minute video or phone call with a program coordinator to match you to the right role.
Self-paced training, plus a live kickoff session with other new volunteers in your region.
Every volunteer is paired with a member of the core team for the first three months — that may be the founder, a board member, or a senior volunteer depending on your role.
First task, first translation, first code review — whatever your role, you're shipping in week two.
Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

We accept applications from anywhere. We read every one personally — it may take us a few days to respond, especially if many come in at once.
Send an email — we'll set up a 20-minute call. No commitment, no script. Just a conversation about what you'd like to do and where it might fit.
